HADDRELL's UMF 25+ Manuka Honey has been tested for methylglyoxal content (known as MGO), which is responsible for the unique antibacterial activity of manuka honey.
UMF GRADING BASED ON LABORATORY TEST RESULTS:
Methylglyoxal (MGO) level 1250 mg/kg and UMF grade is 25.6

This is a nice product, it seems to be of good quality. Great taste, nice texture, and fragrant. It is on the pricy side for a 250g jar. The box it comes in is very nice for gifting but I hope that doesn't contribute to the higher price as I purchased this for medicinal use.

Im writing a 2nd review to show how well this honey did to heal my blistered bites (FYI, i have eczema n this honey healed without causing irritations), as u can see from the photos, the sandbug bites all blistered, itchy, popped, and oozed out liquid. it was so bad, I called my family doctor but I couldnt see him until 2 weeks after. My only resort was taking this 25UMF+ honey. Applied a lot on my blisters, covered it with dressing, did this everyday for at least a week, sometimes its covered day and night. after a few hrs, if it started to itch a little, i would take of dressing, wash with soap & water, rinse with ice cold water, n re-apply the honey then cover with dressing/gauze. after 2 weeks, u can see, my blisters all gone, the insect bites healed, swelling- gone. My ankles stopped itching when it was rubbed against my shoes, it looks like its almost healed.
If i keep applying I bet it can remove scarring from the bites too. thank you for this product!
